Hello list,

Does Qubes by default redirect all Internet-traffic over TOR/Whonix, or is "normal-Webbrowsing possible as well? How?

Thank you!

Regards,

Joe

PS
I am not yet an QubesOS user

You might want to start your Qubes OS journey here:

You can browse the internet like on every other Operating system, but at the same time you can have other browser sessions which work via a VPN provider like ExpressVPN,NordVPN,PIA and others, to hide your web traffic from your ISP. you can also use TOR and of course connect to your corporate VPN. All from the same operating system but with separated virtual machine.

No, Application VMs default to using sys-firewall for their networking
which results in them acting as normal web clients. VMs connected to
sys-whonix get their traffic directed over Tor.
