I think 9.99 a year is a good price. Way better then 60 a month for a vpn for my threat model for certain tasks, especially since tor exists for other use cases. Although i hope all the projects that depend on them don't die anymore then they already have.

Its a shame about all the propaganda over the years by network admins who don't want you slowing their network down as if you exist for them(disable ipv6), anti piracy groups, gov'ts who assume your a criminal and malicious hackers who want you vulnerable, being against using such programs. Like how most so called "experts" are against using any defensive layer of security nowadays....when ironically we need such things now more then ever no matter how trivial they seem.

The truth is the whole "ip in the swarm" thing is pretty much a myth. Its heavily criticized as being nothing but false positives by most isp's and the courts, and even though direct connections can still be false positives, thats the only evidence anti piracy groups can rely on. And even if you are only blocking 1 or 2 out of 3 groups. Who probably compare with each other. its way better then nothing and extremely useful.

Not only that, but blocking 2/3's of the 4 or 5 billion total ipv4 address space is just good for security in general imo. Especially since they are considered bad peers for various privacy or security reasons no matter how many times they change their ips daily. I feel naked just browsing the web without these blacklists. It might be sadistic for some to have every webpage they go to break unless manually allowing an ip address temporarily, lol, but i guess since i'm a video gamer, two clicking to temp allow a specific ip with my mouse is not that sadistic or cumbersome. I do the same thing with noscript since i hate to perma allow anything.
