Hi I had a quick look at qubes os ... and it-s cool ...
You will find the report for HCL.
There are some minor problems with shutdown *maybe i should try another kernel but at the moment i don't have the time, also i cannot touch the BIOS settings because thy are password protected by my boss who is an idiot and lost the password :(

Sorry if doesn't matter anymore, but you could reset BIOS settings & password , with a help of SPI flasher + SOIC clip (this convenient way does not require desoldering of BIOS flash, only a teardown of laptop)

Did you have to make any changes to the kernel settings in the xen config file to get it to install?
