Just to be certain before I begin installing Qubes OS (on my Lenovo ThinkStation pc with intel CPU once again)...

1) Does all internal drives that is going to be used with a Qubes OS installation have to be connected to the pc when the Qubes OS is being installed ?

2) Shall the internal drives which is going to be used together with the Qubes installation be chosen in the installer, or shall I in the installer only choose the internal drive which Qubes OS is going to be installed on ?
If the first is correct please explain where in the installer the drives shall be chosen.
If the last is correct: Then do I have to do anything else to use the other internal drives together with the Qubes OS installed on the pc ?

I hope someone will answer the short answered questions soon, as I won’t begin the installation of Qubes OS before, in case I have to start all over again.

You can add storage later, and add to the storage pools, or create new
pools as you wish.
Welcome to Qubes.

Thanks a lot.

Can you tell me how to add new storage to the storage poll ? - as I guess I have to do more than just connecting the drive...

And also answer my other question:

It's standard linux storage, so you can use any tutorial for this.

I would do the latter and then add the storage in to your Qubes install.
This is standard linux fare, and there are many tutorials available on
using lvm.
It may be easier to create a new storage pool on the new disk (encrypted
if you choose).
You use the qvm-pool command to add to Qubes, and you can create new
qubes there as you wish. qvm-pool is reasonably well documented - the
docs on storage-pools are out of date.

Okay, thanks.

Is it possible to add other hard drives to the installed Qubes OS by using an GUI instead of the terminal/command line ?

And shall I also manually add the extra internal drives that is connected to the pc when I only install Qubes OS on one of the drives, or are they automatically connected with the installed Qubes OS ?
