Kali Linux Purple - Defense

Hello,

which of the out of the Box Defense features of the new Kali Linux Purple, would be very nice to have also in QubesOS to raise the defense bar? (the attacks also get every day harder...)

I see that they emphasize defensive tools - mainly scanners, and IDS -
but is there yet detail on configuration features?
I havent yet seen that.
Also, there's no sign that they will be moving from Debian testing.
