postfix make problem

hi all

I am hoping someone might be able to help me with a postfix problem i
have been following the how to on the qubes-os web site but when i do
make to generate the db files i get the message

make: *** No rule to make target 'generic.db', needed by 'all'. Stop.

I managed to get passed the missing separator error by replacing spaces
with a tab on lines 2 and 4 of the Makefile, but i cant seem to figure
this error out.

any help much appreciated.
