Can I do a straight 26 to 28 upgrade, or do I have to upgrade to 27 first?

Thanks,

Steve

You can install the template 28, then update:
sudo qubes-dom0-update qubes-template-fedora-28
sudo dnf update
if you wish fusion:
sudo dnf config-manager --set-enabled rpmfusion-free rpmfusion-nonfree
sudo dnf upgrade --refresh

You can install the template 28, then update:
sudo qubes-dom0-update qubes-template-fedora-28
sudo dnf update

it works correctly even on 3.2 even if after you install it, it shows
qubes-template-fedora-28.noarch 4.0.0-201805232234.noarch

so I imagined it was only for 4.0, but no, it seems to work also on 3.2

I updated to Fedora 27. I have two issues:

qvm-trim-template fedora-27

and

qvm-create-default-dvm —default-template

Both return as command not found

Can anyone help?

Okay, I guess that feature is now obsolete. What about disposable vms? Is there any way to do that now? I am still hooked up with Fedora-26-dvm

you can clone the dvm
qvm-clone fedora-26-dvm fedora-28-dvm

then change the template
qvm-prefs fedora-26-dvm template fedora-28

there is a lot of very good info and tricks in docs. Have you seen then?

Thank you, Sergio. That worked great. I will test this for a while and then upgrade to 28. I will keep 26 and 27 until I am sure everything is working fine.

Thank you once again,

Steve
