Marek,

After installing R3rc2, I was a bit surprised at the template choices
provided. IMO, the best configuration would be to have a
desktop-oriented debian 8 instead of two debian versions that are both
minimal. That way, users who choose debian will have the same level of
desktop functionality that is provided with the fedora default.

The current configuration requires extra steps in the CLI from the user
to get features like Files integration, browser, office suite, etc., so
it would be better to mirror the choices provided with fedora (e.g.
supply a debian desktop template, and have debian minimal template
available online).

So far I've added LibreOffice, gnome-control-center, gnome-tweak-tool...

What's driving me nuts is that I can't get Files (Nautilus) to launch
properly...

(nautilus:1188): Gtk-WARNING **: Failed to register client:
GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name
org.gnome.SessionManager was not provided by any .service files

** (nautilus:1188): CRITICAL **:
nautilus_menu_provider_get_background_items: assertion
'NAUTILUS_IS_MENU_PROVIDER (provider)' failed

It'll launch the first time then it won't shut down properly and I have
to kill -kill it. Is it missing a dependency?

Hello,

I have installed nautilus in the debian 8 template VM and I have not had any problem with starting nautilus via "Run command in VM" otherwise it will fail!

Best regards
