Qubes 4.0.1 installer no grub menu

I can't get to the GRUB menu of the 4.0.1 installer, is there one? I can't successfully install qubes without it.

When I try to boot the installer from UEFI, some text appears at the top left of the screen and then it goes black. The text says:
Xen 4.8.4 (c/s ) EFI loader
Using configuration file 'BOOTX64.cfg'"

How do I get to the GRUB menu?
