Hello guys,

is it possible to make a Windows 10 and Qubes OS Dualboot?

Is there a documentation or tutorial for this?

Best regards

There is:
https://www.qubes-os.org/doc/multiboot/
Although that is somewhat dated now.
You should be able to add Qubes as UEFI boot - this may be easy or not
depending on your hardware.
Take it slow. Take a backup.

I guess i will take the risk then and buy a fully new system for qubes.

Can  you recommend a high end system which works perfectly for qubes?

Look at the HCL list.
I don't know what a "high end system" is.
Think about your priorities and what you want to do. Then look for a
system that fits.
If your priority is security you may find that older laptops "work
perfectly" and have the bonus of being cheap. Lenovo x230 or G505.
Bear in mind that many users find problems with newer hardware - these
can be overcome but may be daunting at first. Follow the lists and
you'll see what I mean.

Yes, i looked it up there.

But as you already said, users got success with older system.
I want to use hardware from nowdays.
"high end system" means a pc build with high end components.

Please stop top-posting.
The convention on this list is to reply at the bottom of the message.
Take a few seconds to scroll to the bottom of the message before typing.
Otherwise you seem to be the sort of person who values their own few
seconds over the time and convenience of other users: I'm sure you're
not that sort of person.

Hello Maria,

Yes it is perfectly possible to run Windows 10 and Qubes in a dual boot
environment.

I have spent several hours when I was researching how to put everything
together but mainly because I wanted to have the following setup:

- CoreBoot

- Dualboot with Windows 10 and Qubes

- Bitlocker Encryption (to be compliant to my corporate standards)

As I often spent some time to get everything working like I want it to
be, I keep notes and those might also be a good starting point for you:

https://github.com/one7two99/my-qubes/blob/master/docs/coreboot/howto-dualboot-qubes-win-coreboot-bitlocker.md

If you need further help, do not hesitate to contact, I can also
translate my notes to english, if it will help you.

Regarding a Laptop for Qubes I can and will always suggest the Lenovo
Thinkpad X230 with 16 GB RAM and a SSD. It is working perfect with
Qubes, can be Coreboot'ed and you can also plugin a LTE-card which will
also work great with Qubes.

Hi one7two99,

I have Qubes and Linux already installed in different partitions in legacy mode and both work fine. Now I need to install windows 10 (to run Fusion 360 for personal use). I don't want to install it as a qube as my hardware is not very powerful. I don't need Bitlocker. Could you please help? All info I've found is for installing qubes after windows.

Thanks
Regards

Marcelo
