It seems qubes-os.org has been down for a while now. Anyone know
what's going on?

I don't...

This is right time to remind that we have an online "backup" of wiki
data here: https://gitorious.org/qubes-os/wiki

This is just a wiki content, so not as convenient to browser as original
wiki, but:
1. Anyone can clone that repo to not depend on single server
2. Anyone can setup own clone/mirror

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?

Me too - if this can help, I'm testing from southern europe (and
perfectly aware that many qubes-os users will not be ok with sharing
their location info, so since I can, I am :)

All of qubes-os.org, www.qubes-os.org and wiki.qubes-os.org resolve to
54.195.146.0 from OpenDNS, which is an ec2 instance on amazon aws, and
it does respond to icmp pings. Is it ok? Is anybody messing with DNS
answers?

Yes it was. Me, testing from Indonesia ( sharing the location as Alex starting :D )

I'm not sure the DNS resolve is messing up but maybe same result with Alex for pinging.

[user@daily ~]$ ping qubes-os.org

From the eastern US, I get the same IP address and about 10% packet loss. Website still isn't loading.

qubes-os.org (54.195.146.0) is also currently down via Tor, across
several countries (all that I checked).

qubes-os.org is migrating to another system [0].
So please be patient.

The current trac backup is accessible at gitorious [1].

Very cool. I was hoping it was because of this.

Looking forward to Joanna's new Git-backed Qubes Website. :)

So, the point is to make this not "Joanna's Website", but rather: "Qubes's
Website" ;)

joanna.

Yes. Right. Qubes's Website.

But I can still appreciate the principled human mind it comes from. ;)
