There is no way I can make PIA work following official docs, tried 10**100 times, exact steps, no luck...

How To make a VPN Gateway in Qubes

Following the post below I can make it work, it's different than the one above, but it can be started only manually, using command to test the service, every time...

OpenVPN Setup, revisited

At this point I'm ready to pay for a decent 'sys-vpn' that works out-of-the-box.

:)

Does anyone know what seems to be the problem?

Anyone?!

I was using PIA with Qubes without any issues. Simply import the OpenVPN files into the NetworkManager in the sys-net, under the directory /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections and you are ready to go.
Alternatively you can create a sys-fw and run the openvpn config there, in case you want to use multiple sys-fw.

What do you mean by "under the directory /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections and you are ready to go"? How, What?

Is that different from the " import the OpenVPN files into the NetworkManager"?

And, can you explain to me please what's wrong with this method > https://www.qubes-os.org/doc/vpn/

Thanks

Take a look here...

The problem was having NetworkManager enabled. It also has some
troubleshooting steps, like using 'ping' with both IP addresses and
domain names, and checking 'iptables'.
