dmenu font size in i3

I've upgraded my fedora-23 template to fedora-24 based on another thread here since it's not official yet. It seems all packages to do with i3 including dmenu are still fc23 packages? Why is that?

Additionally, with dmenu 4.5 that's packaged.. I haven't been able to change the font or the font size. Any luck?
