hey all,

see below, no GSoC this year, pretty disappointing.

I didn't apply to Outreachy (https://www.outreachy.org) for the summer
round because I thought GSoC would go through and we don't have the
capacity to do both.

However because of the GSoC rejection I recommend we apply for the
winter round of Outreachy, the application will come online in mid-August.
