I'm Meenal Vishwakarma, a security professional with 5 years of experience as a Linux System Engineer and SOC Analyst. I'm applying for GSoC 2026.

I'm interested in the LogVM(s) project. My background in log analysis (auth.log, syslog) and Linux system administration aligns well with this project. I'm proficient in Python and Bash, and comfortable with systemd and syslog.

I'd appreciate any guidance on Setting up a Qubes development environment, understanding the current logging architecture and existing discussions or issues related to LogVM(s)

Generally, you'll need Qubes OS installed somewhere to test stuff. As
for building packages, you can find information here:
https://doc.qubes-os.org/en/latest/developer/building/qubes-builder-v2.html

I'd recommend checking out issues with "good first issue" label first,
before trying anything more complex.
