Hi,

images stuck in "queued" status for security scanning in Quay with Clair, are either caused by an connectivity issue between Quay and Clair, an issue with the Clair instance or a an issue with the particular image (e.g. it could be too large to be unpacked or crashing the indexer, both causing it to get sent back to the queue).

You will need to check your clair instance logs for errors or signs it's not processing able to download images layers from Quay or index queued images.

If the problem persists, please share details about your Quay and Clair setup (e.g., versions, deployment type, storage).

Thanks,
Daniel

Hi everyone, I pushed an image 7 hours ago and it still is in security scan status "Queued".

What can I do?

Thanks in advance

Thanks Daniel for your explanation.
This was happening in quay.io, I didn't deploy my own instance of Quay nor of Clair.

Finally I resolved my issue by deleting the repo and re-pushing the image, which re-created the repo that later my server used to do its bootc upgrade without issues.

Regards
