to Quasiturbine
Hello, I'm a South Korean student doing a project on the Quasiturbine and how to educationally familiarise it. Currently, I'm gathering academic sources from the internet and trying to figure out how this engine works in general. However, I am having difficulties trying to make a rough 3D model of it. As it turns out, I've blindly assumed that the casing will take the form of an ellipse while in fact, the casing was designed from the scratch by yourself. I've figured out that the curve is named the 'Saint-Hilaire skating rink curve', and a general idea that it is similar to a circle tangent(as named is the following site: http://www.2dcurves.com/higher/higherc.html), but nothing more useful for designing the exact shape of the casing. Could you send me a reply with details or specifics(preferably mathematical formulae) on the Saint-Hilaire skating rink curve? Help in any form would be greatly appreciated.

Yours Sincerely,

Tae-yeon Kim
