Scheduled Quartz Job not firing after getting ACQUIRED status

Hi All,

We have a job scheduled to run every 2 mins. However the job stops triggering around some time every day and the trigger for that job is stuck in ACQUIRED status.

We are restarting IIS in order for the job to run fine.

What i am wondering is if the scheduler is not available and the job got stuck but there are other scheduled jobs which are running fine.

However they are scheduled to run once a day at a particular time.

Please help on how to resolve this issue.

Can be any number on reasons. Logging might help here. Is your IIS configured for always on?
