Thanks Guillaume,

I reported https://github.com/quarkusio/quarkus/issues/40691 which seems to have started happening since 3.11.0.CR1 was picked up by "mvn 'io.quarkus.platform:quarkus-maven-plugin:create'". It didn't happen yesterday when I ran it (admittedly on a different machine, with probably a diff env).

Paul.

Sorry for the noise, this is also failing (for me) when I specify the Quarkus version as 3.10.1. It's probably an environment issue, but I will report back on the issue when I figure it out.

Paul.

Could it be that you are using Java 11?

Yeah, it seems that way. Java -version says I'm using 21, but maven -version is picking up Java 11. So it's likely this: https://github.com/quarkusio/quarkus/issues/39358

I can add more details to the issue, so I'm not adding noise here.

Paul.
