quarkiverse release container images

Is there a way to build and release container images to Quay within a quarkiverse github project?

Looks like I cannot add secrets for access to quay so I can use the docker publish action.  I was wondering if Quarkiverse has something set up.

If there is secrets set up for quay publishing, I think I need a userid for it so I can grant permission to the namespace I'm publishing to, yes?

Yes, and provide a reusable GitHub Actions workflow in a separate repository (that can be called from any repo in the Quarkiverse org) holding the secrets (plus with some checks, like artifact attestation to verify the source).
