Quarkus and Hibernate OGM/MongoDB support

Hi all,

First of all thanks for the great work on Quarkus, it looks really amazing.

I've been looking into a few options regarding data services and would like to know if it is in the roadmap to have native support for Hibernate OGM, perhaps a limited set of databases ( Infinispan ), and/or MongoDB JDBC driver.

Hello,

There is an ongoing discussion for implementation of a MongoDB extension similar to the HIbernate with Panache extention (https://quarkus.io/guides/hibernate-orm-panache-guide). 

The status of the proposal is not defined yet, I will post some information about it today on the mailing list, you can follow the threads about Mongo Client extention (https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/quarkus-dev/7f86yFMp92g) and Mongo Panache (https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/quarkus-dev/AjHR3GFKVMY).

The first step is of course the integration of an extention to allow to access MongoDB, it's the Mongo Client extention that will provide Quarkus this fonctionality.

Regardsn Hibernate OGM, I don't know if someone work on this.
