FAP Strong Trend Expert

This Expert is a fairly simple construction that uses a Multiplier
Reverse Hedge. What this means is that the initial orders are placed
with the trend instead of against the trend. The initial order take
profit settings are very close to a scalping level which allows it to
take fast resets that will facilitate the positioning of the hedge
orders. The indicator trigger is a SMA Moving Average compared to a 1
bar shift of the same moving average period. This is a relatively fast
MA trigger.

The secondary Hedge positions that are set at a default of 4 are
placed at mulitpler levels of 1 then about 80 then about 50 and then
back to 1. The initial lot size is always fixed at the Broker minimum
which can vary between .01 and .1. With a fixed inital lot size it
should be obvious that the only time this Expert makes money is if it
has to hedge the original position. I call this kind of strategy a
Forward Positioning Multiplier Hedge. This is because the initial
position is actually placed more as a reference point than as a profit
maker. It will also allow you to minimize any losses if there is a
very sudden and deep move against the position and this is a typical
downfall of most fixed spacing reverse Martingale or Hedges.

Profit Taking is done when the price hits the Take Profit setting of
any of the positions taken or a batch profit amount that by default is
set at 10% of the account balance. This Expert has a "Fixed" money
management system that cannot be turned off even though there is a
prompt to do so. The secondary lot sizes are adjusted relative to
order spacing and the account balance.

This expert can be extremely profitable over a 6 month period or so if
it is effectively optimized to the currency pair being trades.
However, like ALL Reverse Hedge or Reverse Martingale Experts it will
not stand up to very deep or very fast trend reversals. As a result of
this it is recommended that this Expert be used on the USDJPY or other
short cycling currency.
