Hi All, Can anyone tell me what toe in/out (front & rear) camber and castor angles are recommended for the saloon?

I think the same as the original Fiesta (there may be a note in the build manual available on the club website?) From memory 0-1/8 inch tow out at the front. Unless you have specialist parts you won’t be ble to change the camber or castor.

Martin.

p.s. I did an article for CKC a couple of years ago showing how to measure using a couple of laser levels/pointers, bricks and target boards – works well and takes a bit of time (although quicker/ cheaper than a garage visit. One of the other contributors showed an alignment method using straight edges in a recent issue as well.

Toe in should be parallel. Camber can’t be adjusted unless you have specialist bolts. It should be 90 degrees to the road.

Thanks for info, i have no desire to play around with settings but i found play in a bottom ball joint and noticed the TCA's were adjustable, no real problem in itself except one is about 18mm longer the other, so that made me wonder if any other "improvements"  had been made, the car should be being measured today, when i get the results they should make interesting reading.

The TCA aren’t normally adjustable on the saloon, they are Mk3 or Mk4 Escort parts (depending on how old the saloon is).
I’ve got adjustable camber bolts on my 2+2 but i can’t find the figures it is set to at the moment.

The Toe is normally set parallel on the 2+2 and Saloon rather than the Fiesta figures.

Hi
As a rule, but all cars vary slightly ,front wheel drive should be as follows
Rear - parallel
Front - toe out 10-20 mins.
Rear wheel drive:
Rear - toe in 10-20 mins
Front - toe in 10-20 mins
Regards rob
