Alternator not charging battery

Hi
Alternator was not charging battery on my xtreme replace the alternator but still have the same problem! Running 1.8zetec blacktop on standard Ford ecu. The main lead going to the battery is reading just 12.2v when car is running. The wires on the three pin plug go to the ecu and a relay that is off to the side of the ecu.

Anyone had the same problem or any ideas?

Had the same problem on mine. My fault was the large spade terminal being lose on the back on the alternator.  I disassembled the connector, cleaned and tightened the spades and put it back together.
