Power steering fluid

Hi

The power steering on my H4 needs a top up. I've never had to before and not personally touched the system. I'm not aware of fluid mismatches (unless you own a Citroen), but I don't want to make any mistakes.

All I can say is it is red, I have no reason to assume the rack is anything other than an original fiesta but it does have a fluid cooler on it!

The standard MK3 power steering rack had a cooler mounted in front of the water radiator. IIRC it is basically a pipe with fins on it.

If that sounds like yours then probably fluid suitable for a MK3 Fiesta rack would be OK.
