Hi
I am working on 2D system. In order to calculate the thickness of the nanosheet, I want to know the radius of the element. How to calculate or find it using quantum espresso.
Thank You.

hi
never heard of such thickness calculation in DFT.
or did i understand something not correctly.
can you explain further?

In 2D system, like MoS2 where there are three layers like S-Mo-s..I could only able to calculate the distance between top and bottom atom. But I want to calculate exact thickness of the sheet..to find that.I need to know the radius of the S atom.

to find radius you check in google each atoms has some radius. why do u need DFT study for this? still not clear what you really asking which needs DFt study.
