I wonder whether quantum statistics has a relationship with superposition principle.
Bese-Einstein statistics is quantum mechanical such that it should have something on superposition?

Bose-Einstein statistics가 quantum mechanical하다는 것은 quantized energy state를 다루기 때문이지 않나요? superposition principle을 요구하는 것 같지는 않는데요.

Yes, it does not require superposition. Let us move to the point : Can we get superposition from statistics?

As you know, a light field state with sub-Poissonian statistics is nonclassical, and a typical example is a Fock state which has no quantum superposition in the photon number basis. Therefore, I think that it would be hard to extract the quantum superposition principle from the particle number statistics "solely".

What if we use the coherent state basis to describe a Fock state?

Employing the coherent state basis may require a phase-space approach, e.g., Glauber-P distribution.

From the statistics, we can guess what kind of state it was. Given some partial information, we can know that there is an interference effect which came from superposition.
