Im delighted that Rise has a Microlearning feature! I have a question similar to Nadia's, just in the opposite direction:

1. Is there a way to transfer existing lessons/content into Microlearning format, OR

2. Is there the possibility to connect/link content blocks and apply the microlearning navigation in the original Rise lesson format?

I'm building content for Instructor-led training with Rise and the linked content and microlearning navigation mode features would provide a much cleaner and clearer way for live instructors to move between sections (in place of the continue button which moves around when sections are different sizes).

Go to your Rise course and the Lesson that has the content you want to move to Microlearning. Save the blocks you want to move as a new Block Template. You can select all the blocks in a Lesson.

Hi, I absolutely love the new Microlearning feature. It solves many problems I had with the classic Rise format. The block-linking is absolutely great!

Is there any chance for a hybrid system in future? Meaning either the Microlearning format with chapters or the classic format with linked blocks and Microlearning navigation? That would be amazing.

We would really appreciate the hybrid format, to be honest! One of the problems we have on our team is that we have different versions of our courses. Because of our different audience groups and small variations of our products, we want to build the same courses with different versions. However, because we are a tech company, we update our lessons constantly. With the traditional course format, that would mean that we need to copy and paste the new lessons. I thought that the new microlearning format would solve that problem because I thought that we could link several microlearning courses into one courses. However, realizing that i couldn't do that, that's why I came to this thread. Would really really hope for users to LINK several microlearning pieces into one course. That would solve our problems big time!

I am very excited about this feature! I would like to be able to combine multiple microlearning courses into a single course, similar to how a book is divided into chapters. This would allow learners to complete a section or learning program by completing all of the microlearning courses within it.

I believe this would be a valuable feature for several reasons. First, it would make it easier for learners to find and access the information they need. Second, it would allow learners to learn at their own pace and in a way that best suits their learning style. Third, it would help learners to stay motivated and engaged in the learning process.

Yes, it may appear that way. But reason for this is - Learners find it difficult to find all the microlearning courses related to a topic, in spite of appropriate naming conventions, microlearning courses if not grouped together may get lost in the LMS.

A learner is more likely to willingly participate in a single 20-minute-course, than in 10 two-minute-courses. Especially, if the courses are mandatory.

Having a seemingly endless list of courses to work on is not ideal for motivation.

Agree with Mahendra! I found my learners prefer the navigation in the microlearning courses, compared to same contents in classic Rise layout. Will be perfect if it is possible to combine several microlearning courses into a single Rise course.

Micro learning doesnt support images if inserted just before contine button. This bug is well known and has been fixed in courses. It's a real disappointment that Articulate cant find a way to fix in micro learning because everything should work if released to public. :(

Can I ask what bug you are referring to so I can check its current status? I tried placing an image block right before a Continue block and it worked as designed for me. Here's a quick link to my Microlearning sample course for your reference.

Noob Question: if you have one microlearning course that is rolled into multiple different training courses, does updating the "source" microlearning course also update it in all courses, or would you have to replace the updated microlearning course in each manually?

For example, let's say one of the microlearning modules is how to log in for a first-time user, but there are eight different user roles that have a variety of courses combined in different configurations, each of which contains the "login" microlearning. If the password requirement changes, can I make that update once in the source module, or do I need to update it everywhere it is re-used?

In this module, you will hear from a professor at the George Washington University talking about the GW Korean Program. You will be able to hear her discussing what the students in the Korean language program have in common and the challenges that they may face.

Miok Pak is a professor at the George Washington University. She is a native Korean and received her BA and MA from Ewha Women's University in Korea. She came to the United States to continue her study in linguistics, and she received her PhD degree specializing in syntax from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. At GW, she teaches Korean language and Korean linguistics classes.

In this module we will learn the theoretical foundation required to understand life and its significance, from the smallest particle through all living things, to the entire universe.

The unifying theory covered by Module 1 unifies the world of conventional medicine with the world of alternative medicine, the scientific world with the spiritual world, to form one theory comprised of only seven principles.

Seven principles may not seem like much, but not all are easy to understand, and each principle is extremely profound. Substantiating the unified integrative theory requires the use of terms from the worlds of physics, chemistry and biology, and of course, mathematical proof. But this is no cause for concern! Dr. Nader has already taught thousands , and what renders him unique above all is his way of making complex issues accessible and easily comprehensible.

The entire modules track (and Module 1 in particular) is intended for those who find themselves the realm of body-mind-soul and/or are attracted to it, and seek to expand their awareness and achieve a more in-depth understanding of life.

for researchers of the mind and sciences, for those who have been on the path of consciousness for some time (or wish to change a paradigm in their lives), and of course, for therapists (and medical professionals) who are interested in acquiring additional unique and groundbreaking tools to expand their professional toolbox.

Module 1 is the first step on your fascinating personal and spiritual development journey. It lays down the foundation for understanding the universe and reality, in order to further expand and deepen learning down the road.

Introduction to conventional and alternative medicine, the need to change the paradigm and the search for a unifying theory. The principle of uniformity, the source of cosmic energy, life, the universe and the seventh sense.

How energy is converted into substance, the divine proportion in nature and in man, the universal trinity in the universe (in atomic particles, in galaxies, and in the mind and soul), the magnetic poles, the source of male and female energy, the chakras and the meridians.

The universal energetic model, the seven elements in nature, the four phases of life and their physical, mental and spiritual expression. Diagnosing illnesses and emotional crises according to the four phases of life.

The universal code, the 11 code keys and the Kabbalistic spheres ladder, genetics and epigenetics, summary of the seven principles and their importance in life and in the world of therapy in particular.

In these lessons, Dr. Nader teaches, presents and demonstrates the diverse aspects of Unified Integrative Medicine, from the philosophical facet, through the scientific facet to the mental, energetic and spiritual facet. All this, while transferring extensive knowhow, backed by scientific data, research studies, live demonstrations, and more.

Module 6 (which also includes the practical aspects of treatment techniques), combines digital learning via Zoom lessons (along with the learning system, of course), and frontal learning within the framework of a retreat comprising 3 full study days in Budapest, Hungery.

Module 7 is comprised of a frontal, experiential retreat of 7 days, including room and board. It covers learning about the spiritual world and practical experiences in spiritual rituals.

The unified integrative medicine study track developed by Dr. Nader Butto is professionally supported and delivered by Dr. Butto himself, and is the exclusive study program for learning and receiving a certification in unified integrative medicine.

The study track is comprised of 7 modules + a practical certification track. It imparts to students the full spectrum of the training program, covering theory and practice, necessary to train them as integrative therapists in the method.

The track advocates a way of learning and way of life that are based on love, giving, meaning and health. All this, while encouraging (and challenging) students to expand their self-awareness in their development journey and destiny.

After completing the practical training program and the internship, and after successfully passing the theoretical and practical exams, students are officially certified to practice unified integrative medicine.

Each module, or content area, of Grenzenlos Deutsch has three units; the idea is to cover all the unit ones from various modules before moving on to unit twos and unit threes, thereby circling back to the same content area for review while also working at a higher level of linguistic difficulty.
