Adverse effects of Harmonics such as heating of Induction Motors, Transformers, Capacitors, overloading of neutrals etc. are well known. It also causes vibration in machine, causing defect in components. In this knowledge sharing lecture, speakers will take us to,

  4. Solutions to overcome / reduce the effects.
  5. Application.

Speakers are from DB Power Electronics (P) Ltd. They are
1)      Mr. Vinayak Joshi – Addl. General Manager (Marketing)- 22 years of hands on experience in sales & marketing of UPS System & power electronics equipments. Hardcore power electronics engineer involved in building various  power solution to entire spectrum of industries. Heading all India business of DB Power Electronics (P) Ltd.
2)      Mr. Milind Arbatti- Manager (Special Products) – 5 years experience in handling marketing & business development activity of Active Filters, Electronic Load Banks  & Solar Inverters for DB Power Electronics (P) Ltd.
3)      Deepak Chavan- Regional Manager (Marketing)- 14 years of experience in sales & marketing of UPS & other power electronics products. Handling business generation activities for the Western India for DB Power Electronics (P) Ltd which includes Maharashtra, MP, Goa & Gujarat.

“ Quality Circles” were first formed in Japan in 1962 by Kaoru Ishikawa. Today it’s spread across the world and is used by Industries, educational sectors, Health care and service providers for quality/process improvements.

In this lecture Mr. Dileep Paranjpye will be taking us through subject and will share his experience for getting best out of it.

Mr. Dileep Paranjpye was a member of the Executive Committee of Quality Circle Forum of India.  He had started quality circles in his company and developed them to make them winner of National award.  He has rich experience in Industry and education. He has worked in Petrochemicals, consumer product and Foundry Industries at the position of Plant Manager/General Manager. He has been management educator in different institutions. Presently he is the Principal of Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth’s Collage of Engineering Technology Pune.
