Global Benchmarking Network (GBN) – founded by the Benchmarking Guru, Dr Robert
Camp – is an alliance of leading benchmarking centres worldwide who share a
common vision and mission. Current Membership comprises more than 20
benchmarking centres which represent more than 30,000 businesses and government
agencies.
To demystify the “what” and “how” of Benchmarking, GBN has instituted a
hands-on educational workshop – The GBN Benchmarking Roadshow.
After a successful Roadshow in Toronto, Canada last year, the 2nd GBN Benchmarking Roadshow is scheduled to be held in
Mumbai, India on 18-19 February 2010. The Roadshow is being jointly
hosted by the Global Benchmarking Network through BestPrax Club (India) and
Benchmarking Partnerships (Australia). The
Roadshow is held in a different member country each year.
The theme for the Mumbai Roadshow is ‘Best Practices in Leadership and
Strategic Planning’. It will also aim to showcase How to Do Benchmarking Well and focus on Leadership and Strategic Planning Best
Practices of select Indian organizations in the
manufacturing and service sectors as examples.
Dr Camp, author of the seminal works on Benchmarking will be the chief
presenter at the Roadshow. He will be supported by subject matter experts from
Australia, Germany, India, New Zealand and UAE.
BestPrax Club is the face
of India, and Benchmarking Partnerships that of Australia, in the GBN.
