Hi Ravi,
Most of us use Microsoft VISIO software for this flow charting
application.
I heard the Microsoft Visio Professional 2007 is much better.
You may also look into applications like http://www.igrafx.com/
This can do more than just flow charting.
You can create Value Stream Map; perform simulations on the flow to
identify bottlenecks, etc.
You may enquire the rest of the items like cost and availability with
local distributors.
Regards,
Govind.

Ravi,

It depends on volume and whether you want this only for quality
certification or making real improvement and savings.
I have seen verygood application but didnot tried out personally.
You can see this application at www.evsm.com/help
Using this software it is easy to make flow charts.
In case of correction it is easy.
You can further use this application to map processes like your
orderprocessing, supply chain etc.
Using this you can identify waste in process and work on improvement.
This is VSM, Value Streem Mapping application often used in Lean for
improving processes.

I think Microsoft visio will be very good for you.
In addition, if you want there are so many softwares (locally developed or from small industries) which can be used for this purpose.

Hi Ravi,
Microsft Visio is good from my experience and would be cheaper than any other softwares.
Have a check with your IS, they might have it as part of MS purchase

Hi Ravi,

You can use BizAgi (www.BizAgi.com).

It's pretty good and free.
