Using DEM to get hydraulic data

Hi all,

Does anyone know how to use DEM (Digital elevation model) to extract hydraulic data required in QUAL2K (like, bottom width, channel slope etc.)?

As for my study area, rating curve parameter values are unavailable so i have to work with mannings method to get the required hydraulic data. Any kind of help regarding this would be greatly appreciated.
