Dear all,
I am writing to get help with an issue encountered during the execution of a model simulation in the Q2K software environment.
The simulation terminated unexpectedly with the following error message:
*"is aborted! The program either crashed during integration or there was a problem during output. Try checking for bad inputs, using a smaller time step, Runge-Kutta integration, or adaptive time step integration, and running again. If that doesn't solve the problem, please report the problem to Greg Pelletier at gpe...@ecy.wa.gov and send a copy of the .q2k file for this run."*
In accordance with the error message instructions, I have attempted the following troubleshooting steps without success:
Verified input data for potential errors or inconsistencies
Reduced the simulation time step significantly
Implemented both Runge-Kutta and adaptive time step integration methods
Despite these efforts, the error persists and prevents successful model completion.
I have attached the relevant .q2k and .out project files for this simulation run. They contain all input parameters, boundary conditions, and configuration settings used in the model.
I would be grateful for any insights you might have regarding potential causes or additional troubleshooting steps.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
Sincerely,
Uliana Romanova
