transferring model from Qual2k V2 to Qual2k V3-units and other issues

Hello, I have an algae nutrient model calibrated in qual2k version 2 and am trying to convert it to version 3 but I seem to be having trouble. I suspect part of the problem is the units. I need to convert max growth units and the units related to algae uptake rates. 

I have tried how I think it should be done, and it doesn't seem to be working. My nutrients are too high and algae growth is too low. Again, this was performing well in version 2

Does anyone have any suggestions for this?

or does anyone else have suggestions for differences between the two versions that might result in different model output.

nutrient uptake      mg N/mgA to mgN/gC
