Nitrite in the QUAL2K

Mr. Pelletier, Dr. Flynn, or other developer team,

My students currently have Nitrite data but not Nitrate data.

While QUAL2K has no Nitrite input provided, can we make Nitrite model using the current QUAL2K version 3.02 (2022)?

In the Table 5 inside QUAL2Kw version 3.02 master documentation page 25 we can see that there is Nitrite/Nitrate nitrogen at No. 10 in the variable list.

Is there any chance that the NO3 variable can model the NO2 too?
