ACTION REQUIRED: Januay Survery = RUGBY is fast approaching

Hi All,

So we have some exciting events coming up in January. 

• Friday/Saturday, January 8 & 9 - Trip to Portland for the New Lumberjacks and Calendar Sales
• Saturday, January 16 - New Player Orientation & Drink Up
• Monday, January 18 - Quake Spring 2016 Practices Begin
• Saturday, January 23 - Quake Holiday Party

Attached is a survey to determine interest in going to Portland more information below and some help for promoting the NPOs & for the Quake Holiday Party.  We need immediate response to this survey to plan for food to ensure there is enough.

Portland Lumberjacks

The Portland Lumberjacks is the new gay rugby club in Portland.  We have talked to them about a doing a practice with them and a calendar sales night in Portland. Here would be the plan:

• Friday, January 8 - Bar Crawl to promote the Lumberjack practice and Calendar Sales
• Saturday, January 9 - Practice with the Lumberjacks and maybe a very light scrimmage depending on numbers.
• Saturday, January 9 - Calendar sales in one or two of the local Portland bars

This will be a good opportunity to build a good starting relationship with the Lumberjacks and sale some calendars.  The hotels on hotwire are $70 to $90 for 2 to 4 star hotels with 4 per room so it would be an inexpensive weekend.

The remaining questions on the survey are self-explanatory however need an immediate response. 

Please respond to the survey now as we really need to get number for all of these events.

Winter Clothing Donations & Cleaning Group Discount

Along with collecting gently used coats, hats, and gloves to donate this month, I also wanted to share something helpful for home safety.

We’re currently scheduling a dryer vent cleaning, and if a few more neighbors are interested, we can get a group discount. Normally this service costs $399, but with multiple homes it drops to $149 per home.Cleaning your dryer vent is really important because lint and dust buildup can become a serious fire hazard if not maintained properly. We’ve used this service before, and they do an excellent job. They also offer duct and chimney cleaning if anyone needs that as well.
