Привіт друзі!!

As mentioned on Wednesday, below is the link to the Swarthmore Lecture (Britain Yearly Meeting) held last Saturday.

The theme was "Community" (Громада)

It was very well done.  The speaker is Emily Provance, who is a member of my yearly meeting (New York Yearly Meeting).

I hope you find this interesting,

з найкращими побажаннями,

Kristen

The 2025 Swarthmore Lecture is now available to watch on the Woodbrooke YouTube Channel.

On Saturday evening, Emily Provance delivered a deeply thoughtful and inspiring lecture exploring how we live and cooperate in community—especially in communities we haven’t chosen. Drawing from Quaker books of discipline across traditions and regions, she offered a “sense of the meeting” that speaks to all people, Quaker and not, about how we might survive and thrive together as an immensely diverse humankind.

We have published a resource to accompany Emily’s lecture which includes a written version of the spoken lecture and all 92 of the minutes written as part of the lecture. You can find this on our website:
