The television set is the "third parent" in the "traditional" family home since World War II. This third parent is the most influential of the three parents of the hapless children, exerting a terrible, negative influence not only on them, but on the two human parents also, unto further harm to the children via the mother and the father. The TV, the third parent, is always schizophrenic, in the popular sense of having many different personalities: During one hour it has the personality of "Hallmark Presents". During another hour it has the personality of "Mad Max". The reason the harm TV has caused, and continues to cause, mankind is never discussed anywhere, for all practical purposes, especially on TV, of course, is that someone is liable to lose a lot of money. Meanwhile America and many other nations are being destroyed by television.
