VTL with IBM i. Status stuck at EVTW and no backup is taken.

This started happened a few weeks ago.  I updated to 3.0.79.22 and the issue went away for a week and a half.  Yesterday the issue came back and I'm unable to save any data to the VTL.  The device varies on fine, but nothing will save.  The job status on IBM i/AS400 goes to EVTW right away and nothing ever processes.
