CentOS8 - cannot start quadstorvtl

Hi,

I installed in my CentOS, but I cannot start the service

[root@Linux-CentOS-01 ~]# systemctl status quadstorvtl.service

All kernel versions are ok

[root@Linux-CentOS-01 ~]# uname -r
4.18.0-408.el8.x86_64
[root@Linux-CentOS-01 ~]# rpm -qa | grep kernel-devel
kernel-devel-4.18.0-408.el8.x86_64

Even change ELINUX permissive instead of enforcing in /etc/selinux/config

Nothing works. I have try the version quadstor-vtl-ext-3.0.65 and .66 both have the same issues.

What I am missing here?

Please send /var/log/messages and the /tm/journal.txt after running
the following command

journalctl > /tmp/journal.txt

Maybe secure boot is enabled

Secure Boot

Secure boot systems are not supported yet. The VTL service will fail
to start since the compiled modules are not signed. To check if secure
boot is enabled,

grep "Secure boot enabled" /var/log/messages

Secure boot needs to be disabled in the BIOS for the VTL service to start.

Yes that was the problem. Disabling secure boot fix the problem
