When I want write a file with FC access I see the error message (kernel: qla_handle_incomp_ctio:158 Aborting incomp ctio cdb a) on quadstore-server.

I have changed the card and I have make a new setup but I can't solve the problem.
I use "Fibre Channel: QLogic Corp. ISP2432-based 4Gb Fibre Channel" card.

Do you have any idea?

Thanks

Please try the following

echo "options qla2xxx ql2xtgt_tape_enable=0" >> /etc/modprobe.d/qla2xxx.conf

wget https://www.quadstor.com/vtlnext/geninitrd

sh geninitrd

reboot

cat /sys/module/qla2xxx/parameters/ql2xtgt_tape_enable

Value for the cat command should be 0

This would disable SRR altogether and any intermediate frame issue will cancel the entire command itself. The issue still seems to be some SAN related issue, let see if this option helps

As mentioned in the conversation with support the problem is most likely at the FC transmission side. Have you tried any changes on the host side ? It might work to swap the host cards or use a different host to narrow down the issue.

Hi,

You are right. It seems to be host based problem.
First,  I have tested with different  host with different distro and no more problem.
And I have tested the same host with your advice it worked fine. Thanks
