usb joystick sensitivity

I finally got my usb joystick to work with my quadstick , however I don't like that I have to move the stick so far. Any way I can fix it? Do I go into External Pointers in QMP?

Preference settings:

usb_1_multiplier_right

usb_1_multiplier_down
usb_1_multiplier_up

usb_1_dead_zone

Multiplier defaults are 100, dead zone default is 20.  Try dropping the dead-zone all the way to 0, then increase if it is drifting.

External pointers in QMP is for when QMP is relaying an Ultrastik or mouse plugged into a PC to the Quadstick.  Not when an UltraStik is plugged directly into a Quadstick.

I know the Brook Wingman can work with the Quadstick, but can the Brook Sniper work with the Quadstick? Would rather the Quadstick think my trackball is an actual Xbox controller. https://www.brookaccessory.com/sniper/index.php

I ordered one of those trackballs and a Brook Sniper.  I'll check them out.

The quadstick can often work with a mouse that supports "boot protocol", which is the USB protocol for simple mice.  Before a computer boots up its operating system, if it needs mouse support, like in BIOS settings, they use "boot protocol" for keyboards and mice.

It only supports basic mouse functions, but those are enough for us.

Also the setup with the mouse for me would be mapping left shoulder button to left click, and right shoulder button to right click, and right stick to the trackball. I use the Xbox config.
