Hello fellow Quad Stickers:) I was wondering (like this topic already describes my question). Is it possible to program a sequence of buttons for an action? (like up, down, right, left, up) triggered by puff or sip command? I attached how gameplay is like from youtube. You can see what sequences of the D-pad combinations are by watching Yaaj's Name area.  This game is for ps4. I believe its on PC too. Thank you all. Happy gaming!

Since you are using the PS4, you can program your CronusMax to do this.  While the QuadStick is configurable, the CronusMax is programmable, so this is right up the CronusMax's alley.

I found two CronusMax scripts that might be useful:

The first one does the combos and is from this post in their forum: https://cronusmax.com/forums/showthread.php?t=152004&s=a828c0847a208e69c442e2c1b0a1e583&p=1019364&viewfull=1#post1019364 .

The second one I found is not for the combo's but automates other moves:  http://controllermax.com/gpclib/?s=1172  which might be interesting.

So, with the first script, you would want to hold L1 while pressing Square, Circle, etc.  Since your mouth can't be in two places at once, in the QuadStick configuration for Left_1, we would use an output function to hold L1 long enough to allow a second button push.  Sip the left hole to start a pulse that holds down L1 for 500 ms, then move to a different hole to trigger Square, Circle....  You might have to play around with the pulse duration to find the right value.

You'll have to learn how to load and run a CronusMax script, but they've got lots of videos and user manuals that cover that stuff.  What we call a "Configuration Profile", they call a "Slot".  You can have multiple Configurations/Slots loaded and switch between them while playing.

Also, since you got your QuadStick, we've updated the Default Configuration to work with the PS4 Crossover Essentials Gamepak for touch pad support, but also to allow you to change the Slot running in the CronusMax.  A CronusMax gamepack is basically a big script that has some user configurable values.  BTW, there apparently is a problem in the current (1.20/1.10) CronusMax firmware, if you use Partial Crossover Support, so do not update your firmware, if you are on firmware 1.04-1.07, unless you plan to switch over to the Full Crossover Support method and you have a version 3 CM (which you do).   You can read more about it here:  http://www.quadstick.com/blog/2014/10/29/how-to-use-the-quadstick-with-the-ps4

Fred, is the problem with the current firmware that when using partial crossover support that after like an hour or a hour and a half instead of the quadstick automatically reconnecting, it instead stops working altogether? I have noticed this happening. Once this has happened, no more messages appear on the TV saying the controller was disconnected.

Right, the CronusMax stops resetting the authorization timer that Partial Crossover mode uses.  You have to unplug the CM and plug it back again, OR, you can manually trigger the authorization, if you are running the PS4 Crossover Essentials Gamepack, and activate the proper combination of buttons, like in the newest Default Configuration.  If get a hub and switch to the Full Crossover, this is not an issue
