QuadStick -- No Power

Hey All, A nurse was visiting and moved my desk. She hit the spring on the iPad. The quadstick made a descending power down sound and now has no lights. It won't do anything, and shows no signs of life. 

I have unplugged everything and plugged it back in with no success. 

Any advice?

You have an original model.  They have a switch in the base of the gimbal.  If that switch is depressed while the quadstick starts, it prevents the firmware from starting.

If the gimbal is broken, that switch often ends up being permanently pressed and the gimbal has to be replaced.

Other possibilities would be a broken USB connector on the back.

Either way, it will need to be repaired.

I can imagine how frustrating that is. Most of us don't break our own equipment because we can't! Hang in there.
