Fred,
See attachments. One screenshot shows brook FGC2 is updated, with the latest firmware 1.1.3.6 update. The second screenshot shows tester recognize quadstick by itself. Third photo shows quadstick plugged into FGC2 then FGC2 plugged into the PC but the quadstick light do not come on and tester doesn't recognize it. What could be the issue.

Maybe it is a bad USB cable.

The cable between the FGC2 and the Quadstick in the picture does not look like the one that was shipped with it.   The cable that was sent with it was grey or white.

The FGC2 was shipped with the correct firmware installed:  V1.1.2.4, and it was tested.  Do not use the Beta firmware.   Do not have anything plugged into the FGC2 while updating the firmware.

What are the lights on the FGC2 doing?  They should start out as flashing Blue, then go to solid Blue once the Quadstick starts up.  In your picture the lights look purple:

That would indicate it is in firmware update mode, not running mode, but it could just be the camera.

When using the test.quadstick.com page, it must be the front-most window.   With it in front, just plugging the FGC2 into the computer should cause the test page to display an XBox 360 controller.

Fred I updated the firmware back to 1.1.2.4 and fgc2 is solid blue after the update. I changed the cable back to the grey cable. Once I connect the Quadstick to updated fgc2 and it to the PC. The color is still purple/blue and no lights on Quadstick

solid blue after the update is correct.

You should not see purple unless the two buttons on the side of the FGC2 are pressed while plugging it in for a firmware update.  When plugged in for normal operation, it should flash blue until the quadstick connects, then go solid blue.

The quadstick should always have a light on unless the brightness is turned all the way down in the settings.

YES!

The learning curve in the beginning is nearly straight up but it will all eventually become second nature.
