PS5 and the QuadStick

Hello everyone, can anyone tell me the best method they have had successfully connected the QS to the PS 5 to the QS without using Remote Play from the PC? I've looked at several videos including the the BeSavior Controller and a few others but wonder before I decide on a method which one people find Best in price and ease of use? Let me know what you guys think please? Thanks for the help in advance.

Hi Fred

For some reason my Cronus Zen is not working with m Ps5. It worked once and not again. I followed the video instructions by GR again but no dice. Any suggestions?

Get it working without the Quadstick first.  Check their forum or discord for any news.

They have frequent firmware updates.  Check for an update.

Make sure that the emulator output is set to PlayStation 5 and not auto. That is one thing that is noted below the instructional video for the GR video on the Cronus Zen that was a new update from the PS5 instructions.

Thanks Fred and Drew! I will go through the process again. And I’m I’ve got the updates. Yep Drew I’ve made sure output is set to Ps5.

Just another note Fred. Does the Quadstick white cord that came with the Quadstick, need to go into the usb slot on the Quadstick, which is then connected to the Cronus Zen?

The Quadstick is power hungry and the USB cable supplied with it has large enough power conductors to help give it good power.  If you are going to use a different cable, make sure the power wires are 22 gauge and the data wires are 24 gauge.  Cheaper cables often are 24 gauge for all conductors.

Thanks for your help. Ps5 is working now with Quadstick through Cronus Zen.. It turns I had the cords in the wrong place. Again appreciate your willingness to help with my problem.

Without doubt the best method to connect your quadstick with the PS5 is to use the Cronus Zen. It works great.

Here is an instructional video. Note too, the update in its description. As Drew says in a response to me,  “Make sure that the emulator output is set to PlayStation 5 and not auto”
