Hello, I’m currently using Xbox Series X, & Brook Wingman XB with FPS Quadstick. All firmware is up to date. USB connected. Order Number: #143868

When I turn the Xbox on, BWXB constantly flashes a blue light and never turns solid blue. I bought my BWXB September 2021 and have only had problems these past two weeks. All firmware is up to date and using different USB ports on Xbox doesn’t solve the problem. I’m not sure what to do now, any help would be greatly appreciated.

It flashes blue until the Quadstick, or another controller, connects to it.  What are the lights on the quadstick doing?  Does it get to the #2 & #4 red leds on for a second?

Is the Quadstick set to run in the default USB emulation mode?  With the "Boot in PS4 USB mode" turned off?

If you have another controller, try it with the Wingman XB.

Yes, #s 2 & 4 LEDS briefly turn on and the default profile LEDS respond to input on the Quadstick; but the commands don’t control the Xbox. In QMP, under “Misc” tab, “Other Functions” the only 4 checked boxes are:
1. Enable select file with side tube
2. Enable circular dead zone
3. Enable file management over serial port
4. Enable USB-A Host mode

I tried switching USB ports last week and it worked for a few days but the problem reared it’s head again yesterday. I tried changing ports again which worked but I have a feeling it’s another temporary solution.

Is the weight of the USB cable hanging from the Wingman?  They can be broken by too much torque.

I had my old BSC under the BWXB to support the weight. It worked quite well. But when I switched to the back ports on Series X I had to stand the Xbox up vertically to support the BWXB. It could also be the fact that my mother has a hard time plugging the usb in right lol. If you really can’t think of any other easy solutions, maybe I should order a new XB from you.

You can get one quicker from Amazon.  I don't have any at the moment.

You'll need to update the firmware before using it or the console might display an update message.

I had the same problem with my wingman xb after 2 yrs.  I tried everything, turned out that the converter went bad.  Ordered a new one and everything is working fine now.
