connecting quadstick to ps5

I've just bought a ps5 and want to know the best way to play it using the quadstick?              I have a Besavior u5 that I bought last year Do I need to buy anything else?

Any advice really appreciated

The Brook Wingman FGC2 is currently the easiest way go.  Put the Quadstick into Boot in PS4 mode and you should be good-to-go.   It supports touch pad and motion controls, too.

Brook claims to have a Sony licensed authentication chip in the FGC2.

The FGC2s need to have their firmware updated before use.  

Beloader has stopped making the U5 after Sony blocked them last year.   They also make a new licensed adapter, but it is not as easy to use with the Quadstick as the FGC2.

I bought the Brook Wingman FGC 2 and have  updated the  firmware so i'm going to be getting ps5 setup today 

Do I need to use different profiles specifically for ps5 games ?

Search the forum or discord channel for the name of the game you are interested in to see if someone has posted a configuration file for it.

The Quadstick is complicated and there is a lot to learn.  Start with a simple, slow paced, game.  Don't try to make Call of Duty or Grand Theft Auto your first game.  If you are always waiting for your character to respawn, you'll be very frustrated.   After you get the hang of the basics, then go for something more difficult.

Journey is a really good first game for Playstations.  It also is a really good game, period.   It can be played all the way through in less than a day and can be played repeatedly to explore the more subtle features.  The quadstick is shipped with a Journey configuration installed.

I've been playing gta 5 on ps4 for few years but since i've bought the ps5 I wanted to know if I needed to use a specific profile for ps5?

I have set everything up but when I connect the quadstick to the ps5 it keeps scrolling left 

I have tried connecting a number of times but it still keeps scrolling left on ps5 screen but it doesn't go left by itself on quadstick profile selection or when using the ps4

Any advice on what I should do

How are you connecting it?  It does not work with a direct connection.  The Besavior U5 was blocked more than a year ago.

I have updated firmware on the The Brook FGC2  

I've connected quadstick to ps5 with The Brook FGC2 through usb but when it connects it starts scrolling left on ps5 screen but it doesn't go left by itself on quadstick profile selection or when using the ps4

Send in a debugging report with QMP:

1. Plug the Quadstick into the PC
2. Start QMP
3. Wait 20 seconds
4. Click in the Transcript pane at the bottom of the window.
5. Press F1 key
6. Answer prompt to send in the debugging report
7. EXIT QMP.  Ignore any error message.
   
8. Send me an email so I know to go look for the report.
