Magic mounting arm

Fred,

I have the latest magic arm from this year. Do you have a guIde to show me how to break it down to be shorter. I would like to play when I'm in bed. I have a table that goes over my body or it could be placed on the side of the bed.

I would fold the arms parallel to each other to get the ram mount ball as close to the super clamp as possible.

A  short setup would be a photographic stud and a RAM Mount ball.  It would go in the Super Clamp in place of the magic arm and be super short.

PSA: Do not attempt to take a magic arm apart.  It will never go back together again.  There are numerous tiny parts and ball bearings inside that are under spring tension and will disappear the moment one is taken apart.   Getting parts from the manufacturer is infeasible.  Ask me how I know.
