Mouse lagging can be caused by different things.
  1. One is Windows power saving features trying to suspend flash drives that are not being used.  This can be addressed two ways:
    1. Switching the Quadstick to an emulation mode that does not have a flash drive
    2. Disabling USB Suspend in the power saving settings.
  2. A new cause has been identified on three Quadstick users systems:  DSAService, an Intel driver updating program that can periodically consume nearly all CPU resources.

Three people have fixed their stuttering mouse pointer problems by stopping that program.  It is not a required program and can be disabled or uninstalled.

As a quick test, search for a service in the task manager called DSAService and kill it, if you can find it.  If that fixes the problem, you can then disable or uninstall it.

Just adding that my experience of of canceling and uninstalling  DSAService  fixed my issues.
