A new cause has been identified on three Quadstick users systems: DSAService, an Intel driver updating program that can periodically consume nearly all CPU resources.
Three people have fixed their stuttering mouse pointer problems by stopping that program. It is not a required program and can be disabled or uninstalled.
As a quick test, search for a service in the task manager called
DSAService and kill it, if you can find it. If that fixes the problem, you can then disable or uninstall it.
